Service Terms for Minnesota Plumbing Pros in Minneapolis, MN

What Low Water Pressure Work Covers
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to low water pressure repair work Minnesota Plumbing Pros agrees to perform. Depending on the written estimate, that work may include checking pressure, tracing likely causes, and repairing or replacing accessible plumbing components.
Diagnosis does not automatically include concealed-pipe work, excavation, drywall repair, water treatment, well equipment, or municipal system repairs; those require separate approval and may be outside our services. We will explain when a requested task needs a separate agreement.
Work must follow applicable Minnesota Plumbing Code requirements in Minnesota Rules Chapter 4714 and relevant Minnesota State Building Code provisions in Minnesota Rules Chapter 1300. Plumbing contractor licensing is governed by Minnesota Statutes Chapter 326B.
Minneapolis permits, when required, are handled through Construction Code Services. Public water systems are subject to Safe Drinking Water Act requirements; the Minnesota Department of Health, Minneapolis Public Works Water Treatment and Distribution Services, and the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency oversee relevant public-water matters. Wastewater work under Minnesota Rules Chapter 4715 is not included unless separately agreed. We follow applicable Department of Labor and Industry rules and OSHA safety requirements.
Setting, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit
Appointments are arranged by phone or email and are subject to confirmation. We will agree on an arrival window where practical; timing can shift because of earlier jobs, weather, traffic, emergencies, or parts availability.
Please provide accurate access details and tell us about known plumbing conditions before the visit. Someone with authority to approve work should be available, in person or by an agreed communication method.
If you need to cancel or change an appointment, contact us as soon as possible using the details in the closing section. We will explain any applicable cancellation or dispatch charge before it is incurred; no amount is set by these terms.
If inspection shows that the requested work differs from the agreed scope, we will explain the change and any effect on cost or timing. We will not proceed with added work without your approval, except where immediate action is needed to address an urgent safety risk and applicable law permits it. A revised appointment or scope is subject to confirmation.
How Estimates and Payment Are Handled
We provide an estimate or other written price information for the agreed work when appropriate. An estimate is based on the conditions we can observe and information available at the time; hidden damage, inaccessible piping, or new findings may change the proposed scope.
Before additional work begins, we will describe the change and seek your approval. You may decline added work, though that can leave the original pressure problem unresolved or require a different repair plan.
Payment is due as stated in the approved estimate, invoice, or separate written agreement. These terms do not set a price, deposit, payment schedule, late fee, or financing offer.
Please raise questions about a charge promptly so we can review the estimate, approvals, and work performed. You are responsible for charges for work you approved, subject to applicable law and the written agreement.
Any permit or third-party charge will be explained when it applies. Keep copies of estimates, change approvals, invoices, and payment records for your files.
Written Details for Workmanship Coverage
Minnesota Plumbing Pros will perform approved work with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable requirements. These terms do not establish a separate workmanship warranty, coverage period, or guarantee duration.
If a written estimate, invoice, or other signed agreement states specific warranty terms, that document controls for the work it describes, subject to applicable law. Ask us for the written terms before approving work if coverage details matter to your decision.
Warranty or service coverage may not apply to conditions outside the work performed, including pre-existing defects, ordinary wear, misuse, lack of maintenance, damage by another person, or later alterations. These examples do not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
If you believe completed work has a problem, contact us promptly and describe the issue; allow a reasonable opportunity to inspect it before another party alters the repair, when safe and practical. Do not delay urgent steps needed to protect people or property. Any remedy will depend on the written agreement, the cause of the issue, and applicable law.
Responsibility for Existing Conditions and Losses
To the extent Minnesota law allows, Minnesota Plumbing Pros is responsible for direct loss caused by our failure to perform approved work with reasonable care. Where legally permitted, our responsibility for a claim related to a service will not exceed the amount paid for that service.
This limit does not apply where prohibited by law, including any rights or remedies that cannot be waived. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, interruptions or failures in a public water supply, or damage caused by events or work outside our control, except where applicable law places responsibility on us.
We will follow applicable Minnesota Plumbing Code provisions in Minnesota Rules Chapter 4714 and relevant State Building Code requirements in Minnesota Rules Chapter 1300. Required Minneapolis permits are obtained through Construction Code Services as applicable.
These terms do not transfer a public water provider’s duties under Safe Drinking Water Act requirements or make us responsible for municipal infrastructure. Nothing here changes contractor licensing obligations under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 326B or other legal duties. Any liability limit applies only as far as the law permits.

Daniel Larson
Service Expert at Minnesota Plumbing Pros
I started in plumbing in the Minneapolis area, where older homes, changing municipal supply conditions, and hard Minnesota winters can all affect water pressure. I learned to test the whole system—from the regulator and water lines to well pumps and pressure tanks—so repairs address the cause, not just the symptom.
